SHIPPING POLICY
All products (basketball goals, dance floors and weight room floors) are shipped by truck (motor freight), not UPS or FedEx (unless otherwise noted). Some smaller dance floors can go Fed Ex/UPS.
The trucking company will call you to set up a delivery date. We will provide you with the truck company information. The day you agree with the carrier, make sure someone is home. The trucking company will deliver the packages to your home (curbside delivery). The truck company usually gives you a 3 hour window.
The trucks will not pull up onto your driveway. They stop in front of your home at the end or your driveway (curbside delivery). The person that is home is required to sign for and help unload the boxes off of the truck. (The driver does not have to help). Note: some boxes may be quite heavy (basketball equipment).
Truck companies will only deliver during normal business hours 8:00 - 5:00 Monday thru Friday (no weekend deliveries).
You can request a lift gate delivery to lower the boxes to the ground. There is a charge to do that. Call to find out exact cost. It could cost between $50-$100.
It is the customer's responsibility to examine/inspect all boxes. If any boxes are torn, ripped, or open, make sure you indicate (write exactly what is wrong) on the receipt. That way if anything is wrong or missing, your are covered, then call us to report this.
If there was any damage upon delivery, DO NOT REFUSE SHIPMENT, just make sure that you sign the receipt stating the exact damage (which box/part) on the shipment that is damaged. Then report that damage information to us. If you have a digital camera, taking pictures could also aid with this.
Make sure you sign your name only if all boxes are there that states you should have received. If you are missing a box or two, write this on your receipt and call us.
Any ripped or torn boxes should be open and inspected by the customer immediately to see if the item is damaged.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you wish to cancel your order BEFORE shipment, Sport Construction Midwest will gladly provide a refund for the total amount by company check minus 3% of the total order (if your credit card has already been run).
If you wish to cancel your order AFTER it has shipped, then the customer is responsible for paying both shipping expenses to and from your home. You will also be charged a 20% restocking fee off the total of your original purchase.
